Pixie Power!

Hi there and welcome back to this week's post!
For my latest creation, I decided to yet again use one of my favourite Saturated Canary images (I know, I have quite a few) and I LOVE colouring them! This card is also my DT contribution for this week's Paper a la Mode challenge over on The Outlawz Challenges (Anything Goes).

For the card base, I used GinaK pure luxury cardstock in White and the DP are all from the Paris Girl Collection by Carta Bella. I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distresser and rubbed it with Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar.
I coloured the image with Copic Markers.
The Ribbon is by the Ribbon Carousel and the lace is by Kaisercraft.
The flowers and pearlies are from my stash.
The heart shapes are wooden veneers by Studio Calico.
Lastly, I added Stickles in Fruit Punch to the tulle around the bottom of her dress.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Ribbon Carousel RCC77 - Love
Craft Us Crazy - Favourites
In the Pink - Pink & Bling
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
M

Colouring Some Digis

Hi there,
I'm back today sharing some brand new digis I coloured over the last few days. These digis are by Sherri Baldy Stamps and you can get them from the Scrapbook Stamp Society.

The first one is entitled "Bashful Bettie":

I coloured her with a selection of Copic markers. The DP are from the Alora Collection by BoBunny. I also added some Stickles, Glossy Accents and rhinestones.

The second card features the "Tessie Two Step" digi:

I also coloured this digi with Copic Markers. The DP on this card is from the Paris Girl Collection by Carta Bella. Again, I added Stickles, Glossy Accents and rhinestones. The ribbon is Silky Crushed Ribbon by the Ribbon Carousel.

Thanks for looking, and do hop over to the Scrapbook Stamp Society to check out Sherri's digis! You'll fall in love!

This week's 'Purple' Challenge with Eclectic Ellapu

Hi there and welcome back!
It's my turn this week to host the challenge for the Purple Team over at Eclectic Ellapu. A while ago, I was asked to make a card for a special wedding anniversary and I really had to think carefully about it. I'm challenging you this week to also give it a go.

I used white and emerald green for a 20th Wedding Anniversary card. The cardstock is GinaK Designs pure luxury White and All Spruced Up. The DP is from the Victoria Garden pack by Echo Park. The image is by Tiddly Inks and was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The white lace is by Kaisercraft.
I die cut 2 flourishes with my MFT flourish die and added pearlies, stickles and a flower from my stash.

To make it easier, here is a short list of wedding anniversary 'colours':
1st Yellow
5th Turquoise
10th Silver
20th Emerald Green
25th Silver
30th Green
40th Ruby
50th Gold

Hop over to the Eclectic blog and be inspired!

Happy Valentine's!

Hi there,
Welcome back! Yes, its weekend again and somehow the weeks seem to fly by! I'm back today, sharing my creation for this week's challenge over at The Outlawz Challenges (Paper a la Mode Team). This week, your challenge is to create something with either the word 'Love' or heart shapes somewhere on it. Since Krista Smith from Saturated Canary had a fabulous freebie digi last week, I decided it would be ideal for this challenge! (I'm also entering this card into the Saturated Canary Challenge #36 as well as the MarkerPop Challenge #15) Please hop over to Saturated Canary and visit Krista's shop - she'll love having you. Be prepared though to fall in love with her art!! LOL

I coloured this little lady, using Copics and sponged the edge with Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar. The card base is GinaK Designs pure luxury in Kraft and the DP layers are all from the Paris Girl pack by Carta Bella. I added stickles, pearlies, glossy accents and the love charm from my stash, and oh yes, the ribbon .... need I say more .... as always its the Silky Crushed Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel (you'll see me use this ribbon LOTS over the next few weeks, or however long it takes to run out! LOL) I used my wave flourish punch for the flourishes.

Thanks so much for popping in. Don't forget to come back tomorrow, as I'll be sharing my creation for this week's Purple Challenge with Eclectic Ellapu!

Hugs,
M

PS: I'm super stoked that this card has been chosen for the Friday Fabulous Find by the Ribbon Carousel! Woohoo!

This image is called Spunky Sprite.

I printed this digi and coloured her with Copic markers, adding Stickles to her wings. The pink ribbon is by the Ribbon Carousel and the flowers, pearlies and doilie are from my stash. The DP is from the Victoria Gardens pack by Echo Park.
